Catch Me
If You Can
by
Olga Schaen
Mommy, Mommy, look at me, see how fast I can
run? Look, Mommy I go so fast you
can't
even
see me!!! Come on, Mommy, catch me
if you
can.
The longer my legs grow, the
faster my mind
works. Mommy, Mommy, I'm going so
fast I
can't even see me. Mommy, Mommy,
somebody,
catch me if you can. Why can't
anyone catch me? Doesn't anyone see me?
Doesn't anyone
see how fast I'm going? How can I
stand still
and move so fast? If someone
Doesn't stop
me
soon, Ill be gone!!! Gone where?
Such a
game.
We stand still, yet progress
forward.
Forward to what? To where?
I can give you a lot of answers, I
can make you
go real fast, with a lot of
questions. I'm not
really sure if some of the answers
are questions
or if some of the questions
are
answers. Catch me if you can.

Just what we are born into is a
question in
itself. Is it a world of tangibles, or
a world
of thought or one of emotion?
There are so
many avenues of thought, try to
catch some, try to catch me if you
can.
Where is the clue to who or what
we are or
will be, what is the clue? Is there
one?
Watch
out now, these are all trick
questions and
probably trick answers.
One line -- you choose your parents
before
birth, one line -- they choose you?
One line --
it just happens. If it just happens is
it by
accident or by choice, does either
one
matter? Does any of it matter.... If
you want
to keep up, it matters. Don't slow
down now!!!
Your mind will hurt, you will over-
exercise
it. You will never be the same if
you try to
catch me, so, catch me if you can.
